Vanilla pods from the Vanilla planifolia species, grown in the Sava region (northeastern Madagascar) using organic farming methods. Harvested at full maturity and cured through a slow traditional process, these pods have an optimal moisture content (~30%) and a supple, oily texture. They release an intense aromatic profile: warm vanilla, woody notes, caramel, and light cocoa — ideal for your pastries, ice creams, dairy preparations, and beverages.

Ingredients
100% organic Bourbon vanilla pods (Vanilla planifolia)

Recommended dosage
1 pod for 500 mL to 1 L of preparation depending on desired intensity
Up to 2 pods for ice creams, creams, or concentrated infusions
Used pods can be reused in sugar, syrup, or alcohol
Whole pods measuring between 16 and 20 cm, supple and uncut

Usage
Split the pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife
Infuse in a hot liquid (cream, milk, syrup…) at 60 to 80 °C for 10 to 30 minutes
Add the seeds to the preparation or strain depending on desired texture
Ideal for use in pastry (creams, flans, entremets, ice creams), confectionery, beverages, or plant-based preparations

Storage
Store in airtight packaging, away from light, humidity, and heat (ideally between 16 and 20 °C)
